Introduction
I participated in the first seminar on Oct 29 for Group 1, even though I'm in Group 2, because I wanted to see how it actually works and to prepare myself.
My view
First off, I wanted to praise how everything is organized even with all its trouble (Some couldn’t present because they used Linux, instead of Windows; Some microphones were a bit too loud; Wi-Fi & MS Teams issues), but everything went so smoothly.
Secondly, I really liked that Kristjan Karmo is such a relatable person, because of his active engagement in the conversations that were in the chat, which include: I use Arch BTW topic, Windows vs Mac, people that were still asking questions about the course’s assignments, etc.
It really felt like you are talking to a course mate and not a big or scary lecturer that the entire grade depends on his mood or whatever.
This made it a very safe environment to express yourself and give your own opinion on things and not worry about being wrong. Besides that, Kaido Kikkas was also with us, which was really great!
Conclusion
Lastly, I wish I could suggest on something, but everything went so great and I liked the topics that my colleagues discussed.
I guess, if only the seminars were a bit later, because I really love sleeping, but it’s important to study as well! :>
