Introduction
This will be a short blog post to get this off my chest. I'm really lazy.
When you’re trying to write some code for your entire assessment, and you have very little time because you want to network, party, or focus on other subjects, it hits you with one big word: procrastination.
SPEAIT Relation
I really cannot stand this state. I think to myself: “Oh, I can write this in an hour,” and suddenly three hours have passed. Ways to fix it? Maybe just be born smart. It’s not the end of the world, though. You always have your poison: ChatGPT and other LLMs.
As one of our lectures put it: “The Internet can be a knife, and it can also be an amplifier.”
Conclusion
I can just write a prompt, and voila, my work is done. Unfortunately, this approach won’t fly in the real world. No one is as foolish as the teachers at my school were back in 2020 during the pandemic, when we used to spit out essays using a completely uncensored version of ChatGPT like bullets.
It peppers my tongue with a sour taste, whenever I see someone with an LLM window open, because I know I do the same and I know I can do better.
That's why I don't want to use AI.
